“I cannot share enough kind words about the owner of this location. My granddaughters (age 6 & 8) were visiting from Germany and wanted ice cream. They were completely overwhelmed by the variety and number of choices but we thought we had finalized their order only for the youngest to have a complete meltdown when she realized she had ordered sprinkles instead of marshmallows. The owner spoke to her in the kindest tone (even though she didn't understand all of the words), and promised her marshmallows. All was right in her world when he handed her a new cup with the marshmallows in it at no charge. The world needs more people like him. Thank you again.“

“Advertised as homemade ice cream I love this place, I’ve been going here for years on occasion and I can’t seem to taste anything other than my first choice I ever tasted on my first visit. I would describe as pricey for what it is but I also would say it’s definitely worth it. The options of combinations of toppings and flavors of creams is limitless. If you can try it I would say you should. Great place with great options to indulge on occasion. They also will accommodate special requests and let you try the creams before you commit to a certain flavor. Just ask to “To Taste” a flavor“

“I had a great experience with both cakes custom ordered at Suvee Sweets. My sister suprised me with an armadillo cake for my bridal shower and I ordered a stitch cake - both designs turned out amazing and the buttercream is delicious!“

“Nellie's cake is the best in the city. We tasted cakes from so many bakeries across KC. And Nellie's is by far the best flavor and icing. Her frosting is not too sweet and her flavors really compliment each other. All of the wedding guests raved about the flavor. Nellie also matched the cake color to the navy blue suit color the groomsmen were wearing. She was flexible when we needed to adjust our pick up time and pick up person. And she was very friendly throughout the whole process. We will use Nellie's for all of our cake needs now!“

“The lemon/raspberry cupcake I had was GF/vegan—I require neither but my son is celiac. I wish I had bought a dozen for just myself. This is a moist cupcake with great lemon flavor, and I have no idea how they made such amazing vegan buttercream. The owner told me they are a highly symptomatic celiac so the space is strictly GF. I would go back in a second. For three treats and two bottles of water, I only spent $17.“

“We felt so silly running all over Kansas City tasting cakes when Bloom was right around the corner from us the whole time! As beautiful as it was delicious, our 2-tiered wedding cake & dessert bar was conceptualized & baked by Bloom Baking Company. Our dessert bar included: mini tarts, macarons, brownies & lemon bars. Cake tastings are $25 & goes towards the price of the cake. After inquiring online & our tasting, Sarah quickly set-up an in-person meeting to review our ideas, make suggestions & put together an invoice. Sarah & her team were incredibly thoughtful & considerate of both our desires & budget. Thank you Bloom Baking Company for creating such a delightful dessert experience for us & our guests. Not a bite went to waste! Our only regret is not ordering more! Looking forward to the next time I can taste Bloom!“
