“I cannot share enough kind words about the owner of this location. My granddaughters (age 6 & 8) were visiting from Germany and wanted ice cream. They were completely overwhelmed by the variety and number of choices but we thought we had finalized their order only for the youngest to have a complete meltdown when she realized she had ordered sprinkles instead of marshmallows. The owner spoke to her in the kindest tone (even though she didn't understand all of the words), and promised her marshmallows. All was right in her world when he handed her a new cup with the marshmallows in it at no charge. The world needs more people like him. Thank you again.“

“Advertised as homemade ice cream I love this place, I’ve been going here for years on occasion and I can’t seem to taste anything other than my first choice I ever tasted on my first visit. I would describe as pricey for what it is but I also would say it’s definitely worth it. The options of combinations of toppings and flavors of creams is limitless. If you can try it I would say you should. Great place with great options to indulge on occasion. They also will accommodate special requests and let you try the creams before you commit to a certain flavor. Just ask to “To Taste” a flavor“

“we went in and the owner was super helpful and told us about some of her cookies. cute little bakery. apple pie was amazing, the doodads were by far my favorite that we got. my husband couldn't stop grabbing lol. got a cheesecake for my brother in laws birthday and they loved it! “So many delicious items. Love the baklava cheesecake and Dubai chocolate bars. So many delicious European cakes. Their Burek is hot, fresh, and delicious. The bread is similar to Kyrgyz borsak. Nostalgia for me. The staff are helpful in making selections. Don't miss out! Give them a try!“

“Hiring McLain's Bakery for our wedding cake (and sheet cakes) was an incredible experience. We went in for a cake tasting where they took the time to explain all of our options, as well as work with us on a plan for number of guests and amount of dessert needed to accommodate. Their cake was amazing! We ordered almond cake with raspberry filling, which was so delicious and can't wait to order through them again for special occasions!“

“UPDATE: Owner contacted me within 24 hours. Too late to have the flowers taken off, the wedding was over, but it was clear this was an all around snafu that has been dealt with. They are supposed to always show the cake, would have redecorated it if I'd seen it, and the person on staff at the time did not give us directions to leave it out long enough to soften the icing so it wouldn't fall apart when we tried to cut it. The owner made it as right as she could, under the circumstances, upgrading the review due to the owner taking responsibility. It probably would have been awesome once warmed up to room temp.

We’ll laugh about this later, but not today. Ordered a small cake for an impromptu wedding in six days. Ordered vanilla with vanilla, super simple, everything white, including flowers. They sealed the cake and didn’t present it to me for review, I foolishly trusted them. I must have gotten someone else’s cake, this was a mess of spring flowers, in childish spring colors. It fell to pieces on cutting, couldn’t even hold together long enough for the first slice to be held. Tasted dry, icing was harder than I expected, fell in chunks. What a waste of money!“

“was happy to order my kids cakes for there birthday but sadly the cakes we a disappointment the whipped cream topping was tasteless the cake was supposed to be 3 leches and it had a good amount of milk but sadly the cake was hard and seemed to be missing something because it was nasty. i wouldn't recommend its not the same anymore.“

“It was a busy night and Vel let us try a few flavors and made me and my family feel comfortable, didn't make us feel rushed at all. Even took a suggestion ( raspberry sorbet) and I believe that's my new favorite. Even while it was busy, we were taken care of and served in a timely manner, will definitely be back!“
