“Just ate at Waldo Cafe for the first time on a “busy” Monday Memorial Day Holiday. Henri had the staff all working in unison, from the front desk, to taking orders, keeping our drinks full, to the delicious breakfast food. It was a pleasure to see everyone working as a team, something many places lack today. The customer service was also exceptional, every staff member had a smile on their face, and genuinely made you feel special..!“

“I enjoyed a half order of the Big Buiscuit and it’s was great! The biscuit was delicious, soft and made just right, the eggs were soo fluffy and everything was seasoned perfectly. My husband had the meat lover omlette and he said it was delicious 🤤 The service was top notch….we rarely have service that great anywhere else.“
“Excellent old fashioned hamburgers and delicious tacos. Personally I recommend the Gladstone burger, it’s a double cheese burger with American and Swiss cheese and bacon! Top it with some lettuce, tomato and mayo….delish. I’ve also had their “smittys” tacos! They are super simple but amazing.
I have had nearly everything on the menu and have been beyond satisfied!

“Outstanding food, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Reminds me of the best of mom's home cooking back in North Carolina. You can tell the food was prepared with love and care. The meatloaf is the best in KC too!“

“Stopped in today after the retirement announcement. It never gets old showing someone thats never had y'alls tenderloin and their eyes go wide. Ive never had a bad experience in line, restaurant go-ers are always nice... Congrats again on retirement ❤️ - Carrieann, Shawnee“
