We ate at El Toro Loco when we were in KC for a stay at Great Wolf Lodge. The restaurant was very clean, the server was sweet, and the food was delicious. They gave very generous portions of chips and salsa and the drink for the kids meal was the biggest I have seen. My husband and I shared a Texas Chimichanga which was so yummy and my oldest got shrimp tacos and loved them. We went for lunch and it wasn't crowded at all.
I love this place! Specials are always on point (weds and Friday are my favs), drinks are an hit, and food is flavorful. I only wish this last time my food was a bit warmer, but that won’t stop me coming back :)
Some of the best chips, cheese dip and salsa I’ve had at a restaurant. Food was outstanding with very generous portions. With so many places charging more for less this was very refreshing to see. Overall service was a little lacking but very friendly when we actually had interaction.
Excellent place to eat. Definitely worth a try. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.
