Great stuff. Definitely buy some of the Night of the Living BBQ Sauce. It’s so good.

Neat place. Long line (out the door) but it moved pretty well.
Z Man brisket sandwich was great.
Ribs were solid.
Sausage was ok.
Spicy Slaw was decent.
Fries were really good.
Mac and cheese was really good.
Brisket (on its own) was kinda cold.
Enjoyed the regular and spicy sauces.
We snagged the last parking spot and barely got a table (Friday night).
$102 for 4 plus tip.

We visited on a Saturday. It took about an hour and 20 mins to get through the line and order. Food was amazing and definitely worth the wait. There is someone helping everyone find a seat once you order. We were able to sit inside but they also have seating outside. If you don't want to eat inside I highly suggest ordering curbside so you don't have to wait in the line.

Good food and friendly service, but seating inside was limited and tight. We were a 6 top so we had to cheat and ‘save’ a table when it became available. Noise levels were high for me with hearing aids. Not much to help that.
Now food, the banana pudding dessert was awesome. Ribs were very tender, but still clung to the bone (which I prefer). Brisket and sides were quite good. Prefer it to Gates…but Q39 still our favorite.

Great place for barbecue. Had the 2 meat platter, pork and brisket, spicy Cole slaw and Nana’s banana pudding. There was definitely a line to get in but it moves pretty fast. Everything was really delicious, well earned reputation for excellence!

Flew in for the Chiefs/Bears game and came here for a birthday dinner—definitely didn’t plan to make my entrance by fainting, but hey, memorable! 😂 The staff were absolute rockstars: water, food, and making sure I was good to go. That’s real hospitality right there. And the food? The KC touch we were looking for. Huge thanks to the crew for turning my “oops” moment into a great night!
