Best in KC
My new favorite Mexican restaurant. Found them during restaurant week. Have returned several times since then. Ordered something different every trip and all have been delicious. Have absolutely no problem making the 30 minute trip to this restaurant from my home.

I visited this restaurant and got the shrimp cocktail, which is something I always get at a marisquería, and it was good. The ambiance was nice and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. She let me know they do karaoke after nine. It wasn’t too busy when I went, which made it a nice, relaxed experience. I’m looking forward to coming back.

This is the best Mariscos place in all of KC. A hidden gem that I hope gets popular quick so it doesn’t go away.
The service is great and food is on point. Great flavors and always cooked just right.

The waitress was rushing us to order our food. Also, you get a “supp fee” charged if you’re paying with card but they don’t ask if you’re paying cash/card. They “automatically” apply that fee and they apply a 20% tip for a party of 4.

Casual place with outdoor area with tables. Service was good, small language barrier. 3 stars are mostly because they charge 5.99 for a small bowl salsa, which was thin and not very flavorful! Same with the cheese dip for 7.99. Tasted like melted white Velveeta! We had the octopus Lucero which was good! It came with side salad, too many onions, fries and rice.. Not sure why 2 of the sides are starches? Some beans might be better for one! Also had the mixed seafood tower which had a lovely sauce and lots of seafood and stuff!! Plenty to share with 4 people easily! Two things I didn't like about the fish was way too much red onion and it had raw shrimp in there as well, which I didn't understand!! Other than that, very good!! Good margaritas, no frozen available!. One of our friends had a burrito with steak and shrimp inside. They enjoyed it and it was a good size. Shrimp empanadas were interesting, but could use more filling! Overall if I lived closer I would probably go back and try some other things!

Exceptional restaurant, very authentic - beautiful, fresh, delicious food. Blew away our expectations. The patio was great, inside was clean just did not seem as comfortable. Great selection on the menu - and a very large menu at that. Horchata was awesome, so were the octopus tacos.

The shrimp cocktail and fried shrimp were amazing. The molcajete for two could easily feed 4-5 people.
