“We got there at 7:30 in a Saturday night with a party of 9. They asked if we would sit "outside", we agreed. It was all enclosed. It was a dance area. They were doing salsa lessons. It was fun, even for 3 Gen X non-Hispanics! I really liked my street tacos.“
“Thought we would try this new Mexican place in Zona Rosa since it's close. It used to be Bar Louie. It is a nice upscale place and it seems like they just used all the tables and chairs from when Bar Louie was there. The food is just alright. The rice was bland and I would have added pepper but none of the tables had any pepper or salt. There was tiny pieces of green beans and peas in the rice which was kinda odd for Mexican. The beans were little more flavorful. I had a ground beef chimi that was pretty good but it was small for the price. It was $15.75 for this small chimi with rice and beans. It looked more like a lunch portion. My drink was pretty good. Got a Spanish Sangria. They do have a lot of drink options.Service was decent. She was nice and we were a party of 8.Maybe I will try this place again in a few months but if they keep charging that much for those portions I don't think I want to go again.“
“This food was very good and very filling - Didn't know if I had it in me to finish my second taco! Workers were very nice and options were easy to read and find. Would be great to eat outside with nice weather but was also nice there's heaters for chillier days like today! Would come back.“
“Just wanted to hop on here and recommend Palacana. My husband really wanted carne asada fries for dinner, I showed them the picture and asked if they could make it. They whipped it up and I was on my way. They were absolutely delicious!!! We used to get these frequently in Colorado and haven’t seen them in Kansas; they were amazing and I hope they will be added to the menu in the future. Also the smoothies here are AMAZING; the food is great and the service is fast!“
