I live close to this place, and been wanting to try for months. I finally did the other day, and I was impressed. I got 2 street tacos for less than $4. Chicken & steak. Very good meat! I came back the same day later on and got a burrito. For $5 it was big and was super good with steak & rice! I'm glad I found this place and will be returning. Affordable, good food!
Add another dining spot to an area of town that's arguably the epicenter of everything Hispanic in greater Kansas City. The lady waiting on me today, who I assumed to be the owner (why else would you bring two toddlers to where you work?) said they'd just opened in November. The restaurant itself I'm guessing was finished off for another business because it clearly has restaurant design written all over it, unlike many other Mexican eateries within less than mile. i love Pepilloz! Everything is awlays fresh and authentic, the horchata is some of the best ive ever had. they have menudo and posole on the weekends! plus its family owned, they always take good care of me when i go.
