OK after starting up the road we were not expecting the level of quality in service and food. What a great place. I had the breakfast sandwich which was great and a great price, we got two donuts for the road and drinks. I love the vibe . This place could easily fit on the west coast or in New York City, but just welcoming all around. A must visit.
Rainy on the outside, drizzling warm vibes on inside. Splitlog has done everything right! The lighting, plants, music tunes create a comfortable environment. Flexible seating; table tops with stools, comfy chairs for party of two and 7 tables for solo or bigger parties. The artwork and wall mural are a lovely added touch as well. Good service and atmosphere, but the cortado was a bit bitter (yes, I know cortados have a smaller milk-to-coffee ratio) and it seemed they didn’t have their espresso dialed in correctly. I would return, though, and it’s a warm, friendly environment!
As a plus, I appreciated their changing table in the bathroom stocked with all sizes of diapers - I have rarely seen such a set up before! Kudos for taking care of kids.
