I typically hate Starbucks plain drip coffee, especially Pike Place, but yesterday I needed to wait somewhere and this was my only option. I got the coffee as a "ticket" to sit, and I was astonished at how good the Pike Place was. It is literally the only time I've ever enjoyed Starbucks plain coffee out of many past attempts. I don't know what this location does differently but others need to figure it out and do the same.

Before my big meeting, I went here for some good coffee and a muffin. The muffin was sugary, but tasty. I was able to take my stuff with me and continue on to the meeting and the day started.

The store and staff are just god awful. Between not make drinks properly to no one knowing how to "give a refund" or contact information. I was told today Sept 9th at approx 920 by someone claiming to be an assistant manager, that she was "no longer talking to me" because THEY messed up my order, the app gave inaccurate selections and I asked for 1. A refund and 2. Owner information since they are "not a corporate store". But had she taken a beat to HEAR me, my original complaint was not her. It BECAME her with her funky attitude. The entire store has the "oh well you get what you get." I have been there when they had to make several order twice because they were wrong. How wasteful!! Not only do they need training on making drinks but how to work with the upset public. And don't call corporate because they only give you a credit and claim to send the information. Yet this store still remains awful. I pray they close this store. It's awful!
