I typically hate Starbucks plain drip coffee, especially Pike Place, but yesterday I needed to wait somewhere and this was my only option. I got the coffee as a "ticket" to sit, and I was astonished at how good the Pike Place was. It is literally the only time I've ever enjoyed Starbucks plain coffee out of many past attempts. I don't know what this location does differently but others need to figure it out and do the same.
Before my big meeting, I went here for some good coffee and a muffin. The muffin was sugary, but tasty. I was able to take my stuff with me and continue on to the meeting and the day started.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I went in there and I wasn’t sure what to order her because she’s four, and they made her a little strawberry drink and it was really sweet.
