Absolutely the best restaurant I have ever eaten at plus chief Annies food and kitchen staff make the best dessert Rangoons I have ever tried so creamy. 10/10 recommend everytime.
Was looking forward to having some good Chinese this didn't do it for me, unfortunately and I drove from the Missouri side. Ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Lo Mein (and Spicy Crab Ragoon)--the noodles were mushy-soft and they forgot my shrimp, so I had a mediocre Chicken Lo Mein that I paid $19 for.

I grew up on tao tao! It was our favorite treat to have on weekends. Service is great, it always is! We get the same thing every time we order, orange chicken and combo fried rice. We ALWAYS had leftovers. However, I was very surprised to see how portion sizes and amount of food have dramatically decreased despite prices increasing. Overall, the taste is not the same anymore, quality has decreased, and unfortunately just isn’t worth it for our family. It has been super disappointing to see our favorite spot change like this.

If you are on a quest for the best Springfield Cashew Chicken or General Tsos Chicken in the Kansas City area look no further than Tao Tao. A very friendly family business and Chef Anne’s amazing cooking infused with love. Everything we had was fantastic including all the different types of crab rangoon. Conservatively, I have eaten at 20 Chinese restaurants in KC and this is the best one. I may even revise this review and say it is the best I have ever had but I need to try it some more before I can make that claim. As of right now I can say it is one of the best!

Ordered chicken fried rice and orange chicken. The chicken fried rice was lacking flavor and very bland, I could have made that at home lol. The Orange chicken was ok, crispy and flavorful, not spicy at all. With all these good reviews I couldn’t wait to try, I probably wouldn’t be back. My search for good Chinese food continues.

This was a wonderful surprise. I never got the chance to try this place even if I saw it often. It's so delicious! The restaurant itself was so pleasant to visit. But the food impressed me most! I never really found a Chinese place I really loved in KC but Tao Tao but so yummy. Even the smell of the spices while taking it home in the car was great. The chicken and rice both had perfect texture and the flavor of the sauce has me excited to try more from here. I haven't really left reviews often, but this was just so good I had to! My boyfriend and I went at random, but what a lovely surprise! The food tastes so great, I don't think anyone looking for good Chinese food will be disappointed.
