UPDATE - Really sad to have to update from 5 starts to 1 :( I wish I had never tried the food!!! Now that I have I sadly won’t be back and I understand why the barista gave me a bizarre look of pity when I ordered food on top of my usual latte. I had the two seasonal tamales and wow, some of the saddest Mexican food I’ve had. The “green chile pork” was one of the worst things I’ve had. I had one bite and it was dry, flavorless and mostly potato. I took another bite and I spit it out, I finally got some pork but it tasted rancid. About 45 minutes later I started to feel very ill, so I’m glad I didn’t swallow any more of it. I did try the cheesy corn tamale and while it’s very inauthentic it was fine. But I only had one bite because the sadness from spitting out the last one made me lose my appetite.

I really liked this place! The baristas were friendly and playing some really good music. I came on a menu change day and the new latte I tried was really good. Will definitely be back to try the food.

Honestly the best coffee I’ve had in USA! Reminds me of Australian coffee. We also had some tomales and everyone in our group loved them. Very cool painted pottery from Mexico. Drew and the two staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Very cute place. Super lax spot to have a coffee and something small to eat. Service was excellent and coffee is yummy. I’ll be back for sure!

Did someone say vegan tamales?! So stoked to have found a spot offering well-spiced plant-based tamales. We took home 2 dozen of the Jackfruit tamales and enjoyed them all week. Cozy spot with lots of colorful painted Talavera pottery direct from a maker in Mexico available for purchase. Outdoor seating for sunny days. Check their Instagram for seasonal flavors & specials.

It’s been yearsssss since I’ve been wanting to try this place. Finally went today & it was a cute little space. However, I am upset how it says Mexican food and it was pretty much tasteless to me. Tamales maza had too much water and needed salt. The rice is almost white & to top it off the coffee was cold. Girls working were nice but I would not recommend and sadly won’t be coming back.
