We were a smaller group than usual at our latest Foodie Fun Club gathering but we had a delicious time together at @cafethemani ! I kept forgetting that there was authentic Korean food just off Mass on E 7th St, but when the craving for kimchi pancakes struck, I knew just where to go, and everyone else was curious about their new Korean fried chicken menu.
“The Mani” is written in Korean as ‘더마니’ and reads as “duh-ma-ni.” It means “many more” and “much more,” which is apt, because I plan to go there many more times!

ABSOLUTELY the best Korean restaurant in town! They have all the best dishes. My favorite is the JapChae & BimBimBop. This time I got the JapChae and they gave me some of the pear juice that is also my favorite. I’m excited to try the fried chicken next time!

Got the first time since coming to the United States from Korea that I can say when I took the first bite, I felt like I teleported back! The jjajang and jjampong as well as the pork taste just as good as in Korea and I do NOT say this lightly. I hope this place will also introduce sundae guk. Amazing!
