We have been here half an hour, but nobody is taking our order yet, and it's not that they are full. We are still waiting. We are leaving without order.

Terrible coffee, great food. Latte tasted like it was made from Folgers beans but everything else is great.

Love Global! Raf & Kate are amazing. I’ve perfected the avocado toast… add 2 eggs and a side of pickled cabbage…yum!

I came here for my pregnancy announcement since it’s my grandmas favorite restaurant, I called right at open to make a reservation. She said that they take reservations 30 minutes ahead so I called back. The lady seemed like our party of 13 was okay. When we arrived, they were immediately giving us dirty looks and staring nonstop. We immediately felt uncomfortable but just kept eating. We’ve been there several times in the past years and never had this treatment before so it was out of place. The lady in the black Star Wars shirt with the dark hair was especially glaring at us and just staring. We asked to put the table we already also had at the end and she quickly said “absolutely not” in a very rude way. A simple, “no, we don’t have enough room” would’ve been fine.At the end, we even helped organize the tables and left a 30% tip despite this but I definitely will not be returning. I made the mistake trying to celebrate my pregnancy announcement here.

Came in at peak time - full cafe and great energy. The person who greeted and sat me let me know that the kitchen had just been slammed, so orders may take a bit longer. That was very thoughtful! But the food and drink came out in great time.Lovely ambiance in this cute little cafe. It was nice to sit and relax.I tried the Global Mocha, which featured a dark chocolate infused with green chiles. It was gorgeous!! Green chiles are a great compliment to chocolate. They did it perfectly here. The server recommended the iced version as they serve iced lattes with coffee ice cubes. *Chef's kiss*I got the special Pain Perdu - New Orleans style French toast. Served with bacon and syrup. Delicious! Can't wait to come back and try lunch!

Coffee ice cubes! I just wanted to start with that. I only got coffee, so I can't speak to the food but, the coffee was great. I got the cold pressed iced coffee and, was surprised when I got down to the ice to find, they use coffee ice cubes. It's the little things, I love it.

I love this locally owned cafe, they make their own green chili and salsa…honest to god it’s so tasty. They have lots of options but I always go for the basic Farmer’s breakfast which reminds me of my time in Central America: black beans, rice, eggs, salsa, tortillas…staple for breakfast and or lunch. Their specialty coffee drink barraquito is insanely good. Great service, super friendly staff and owners.

The food isn't bad by any means. But everything else about this restaurant is better than the food. They used to have black bean hummus many, many years ago. I vote for bringing that back. I have tried the Arapes and several of their omelets. They cook like Karen. No seasoning. I have to pepper everything on my plate. Their coffee offerings are fun and rich. These days, I'm eating more like a vegetarian, and those dishes are relatively tasteless. Next time I go to Global Cafe, I will simply enjoy their rich coffee inventory.Service is as slow or fast as college-aged kids can handle on a busy day. Don't be stingy on your tips. They are still knowledgeable and friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Didn't get a kids menu, but they have a kids menu. Our server was very helpful in that regard

Stumbled across this place I saw a line before they opened and that’s what caught my attention but what made me write this review is seeing how they take care of the local community and taking care of people that most businesses would call the police on. They will have my repeat business from here on.
