The delicious food, coffee, and service on a busy Sunday were outstanding. I was glad I made reservations which got us seated within minutes of our arrival. It's worth the drive from Kansas City.

Blackstone been is the special today. Eggs poached to perfection every time. I cheated and slid the bacon tomato off the English muffin. Black bean quesadillas best in town. Coffee. Great service; friendly and attentive. Nice view of downtown and parade of irregular pedestrians.

Had a party of six with two infants. Was given a 30-40 mins wait time. Three people waited in line while the other three waited in car in the parking garage as the waiting area was full and it was 40 degrees outside. At no point were we told that the whole party had to be present to be seated until the table was ready. Once the table was ready, told him that they're in the car and will be here in two minutes. Instead of waiting, the host gave the table of six away to others right away. Never have I been to an establishment where the patrons were not even allowed five minutes to get their party to the table. Which we had to wait another fifteen mins and at no point did he apologize. Acted as it was a no big deal and was doing us a favor. If it wasn't for two cranky infants, we would have left. Always like Milton's, but after this experience, will not ever return back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, as they do not have high chairs and staff that is not trained to understand or handle parents with infants.

Got the Florentine Benedict the first time, which was great. However, went again and tried the steak and eggs. Cooked well done even though I asked for medium rare. I think the steak is too thick for breakfast. Ended up being too chewy and dry. But other than that, service was great, waiters are super nice and attentive. The prices are also pretty cheap for downtown Lawrence standards. I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast/brunch, but I wouldn’t recommend the steak and eggs.

After going to Milton's, my husband and I no longer want to try any other breakfast places in Lawrence. Everything was perfect here. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. The eggs were cooked exactly to over medium. The blueberry pancakes were large AND loaded with blueberries. Our waitress was extremely attentive, and the bill was reasonable for how completely happy we were with everything we received. Highly reccomend stopping at Milton's if you are ever in the area.

Excellent all around. Incredible place for breakfast, with many options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service is friendly. Coffee is self-service, so you never have to wait for it. Great location. Great owner. Definitely a place to go in Lawrence.

I really like this place. They just expanded their dining room, so the wait for a table on weekends is much shorter. Service is always fast and friendly. The food is top notch! I've never had a meal that I did not thoroughly enjoy at Milton's.

HORRIBLE. Originally I ordered a iced vanilla latte and it was awful so I sent it back and got a Diet Coke. Then I got avocado toast with no avocado and little toppings on it, then was CHARGED FOR A SIDE OF AVOCADO after I showed the waitress how there was none on it. After all of that I get my bill and I was charged for the coffee I sent back, the avocado toast in full and the side of avocado, so I asked the waitress and she said she'd take it off but ran my card and got the bill back to see she took none of it off. Just horrible experience all around.

The service was ok. I was upset that they went ahead and sat us then let us know they didn't have high chairs at all not an option. If I would have known before she sat us I would have kindly left. Food was ok, latte was watery.
