The Detroit-style pizza was delicious and crispy, but I feel like the addition of garlic chunks was unnecessary and overpowered the flavor a bit too much. Otherwise, the service was friendly and efficient.

Great service is not always defined by perfection, rather how one handles an imperfect situation. A mistake was made and Matt more than rectified the incident- we are so grateful for how readily he handled our issue. Oh, yeah- food was good too!

I can't say anything about the food because after waiting over an hour wait in an empty restaurant upon arrival for two calzones is insane. Wasted an hour of my life I'll never get back. Terrible service, terrible art, just a terrible experience all together.

We had terrible food. Reheated slices-not fresh. The salad was slimy. How could you put it on the plate and not notice the brown slimy lettuce? Server dropped the food and never came back to check on us. In addition, the bathrooms are all gender. The floor was covered in pee-the seat was left up, and wasn’t screwed down tightly so it was slipping off the bowl. Women do not want to go into a dirty bathroom that men have been using.

We experienced a highly unsatisfactory visit. Our server's attention was primarily directed towards conversing with colleagues rather than attending to our table. We endured a 30-minute wait for our appetizers, which arrived cold and only after my husband actively sought our server's attention. Similarly, our pizza was also served cold, requiring another effort to flag down our server. Furthermore, our server inadvertently dropped my debit card while returning to our table, seemingly unaware of the incident.
Pizza was great! We came in a little before closing and Isabella was so nice! Really a great experience all the way around!

On Saturday, August 23rd, we had great pizza. Three mini pizza's: Hawaiian; tostada; and my favorite, Papa Minsky. Added a side salad and mushrooms for appetizers. Service was prompt and friendly. All the food was excellent. The toppings on the minis had great texture and taste. Salad was crispy and fresh with excellent ranch dressing. Mushrooms were breaded perfectly. My girlfriend has been a customer of the original Minsky's in Kansas City since she was a child. The Lawrence location, at 934 Massachusetts street, equals the quality of the original. Highly recommend.
