Pizza is delicious! I have food allergies, and the staff has always been very attentive to those allergies. They double every pizza before handing it to me and will always call if my order contains any foods that I cannot have. They also fix any mistakes they have made right away.

I normally don’t rate low but all we ordered was a side of fries and a salad… Took 30-40 minutes to get our food and there was only one other table of people in the restaurant. I’m sure they get mobile orders so maybe that was a part of what took long but also the fries were dry and cold and the salad tasted like it’d been sitting out…

The Hawaiian, mac and cheese, and nature’s choice pizzas were all really good! They have daiya cheese! Our server Matt was very friendly and attentive.
We come here quite frequently and have never had a bad experience. Tonight, our waiter seated us and then promptly left for 15 minutes, when it was clear we were ready to order. He (I believe his name was Matt) finally showed up again and grumbled at us by which we only could assume was asking if we were ready to order. He literally stood above us with his arms crossed making little eye contact. I’m not usually picky about such things but his body language said we were not welcome.

It's easy to understand why Minsky's is a top rated pizza chain in metro KC. Their pastas, addictive breadsticks, and pizzas are fantastic. The BBQ chicken, gourmet Hawaiian and Papa Minsky's are all standouts. The Greek salad, Western Cheeseburger and Minsky's club are also great.
If anything, the experience could be improved by a few things. First, the bathrooms are consistently broken or dirty. With only two available (and only one with a changing station for children), that's never a good sign. The restaurant could stand to use a little more space, but some sprucing up in the back would be welcome.
Secondly, the servers themselves are great. But sometimes they seem hampered by inefficiencies. I had to repeatedly ask for silverware (and only received one set at a time recently). I'm not sure why there wouldn't just be silverware set on the tables in advance along with water and some plates. It just makes the servers have to keep running back and forth for minor requests instead of focusing on the food. I'm sure the servers would prefer not to have to keep hustling and the patrons and kitchen staff would probably welcome that too.
Service is really important and a reason why places like Rusty Taco have closed recently, so hopefully the owners and managers can support the staff by improving the facilities and keeping their staff happy and organized. It's a fun place to visit and Lawrence should be pleased to have a location of a well established chain downtown.

My wife and I visited for dinner and had a lovely time. The atmosphere is very laid back and the staff was friendly and very attentive!
I’m hoping we just had a fluke experience, but the Margherita pizza was EXCEPTIONALLY SPICY. Like hotter than hot wings, eyes watering, lips tingling, multiple refills on drinks spicy. We double checked the menu and it doesn’t say anything about there being any heat to the item at all. We even asked our server if it was supposed to be hot and he explained that some people do mention about it. It feel like he brushed us off a little? I can’t stress enough that I am not someone who is ever bothered by medium spice levels, but this was extreme.
Do give this place a try, but if you have a sensitive stomach or are adverse to spicy flavors, definitely be cautious with your order.
