Simply put, the real deal for hamburger lovers. Not smash burgers, but juicy, thick ones cooked to order with proper buns and all the excellent sides you'd want. No competition in Kansas or Missouri! Friendly staff and decent selection of very good beer.
So, picture this: I dozed off at the boring old amtrek station and woke up on a bus hurtling to who knows where. And who's sitting next to me? None other than my roommate, of all people. Turns out, my snoring was so obnoxious that she had to rescue me from the wrath of the conductors by dragging me onto this random bus heading west.
Next thing I know, we're in Lawerence Kansas, a place I've vaguely heard of because supposedly they have a killer...

Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff make the visit extra pleasant. The house-made black bean burger is delicious and far better than industrial/mass produced fare. Biscuit happily put down her lacrosse ball to taste the duck fat fries. Yum!
