I can’t count how many times I’ve been insulted by two cashiers who work here in particular. Andrew and Jessica have both made disrespectful comments to both me and other people I know. Most recently I was called a racial slur and told I wouldn’t be able to use my debit card here because it was “too old” each time I come here I am utterly appalled at their boldness and the lack of common decency and respect for others.
Any prepackaged food or supplies are very overpriced. last semester, most places in the market weren't opened or ran out of food before closing time. Prices are rarely listed. A lot of the food is way past expiration. The hummus at the salad bar was over a month past expiration when i got it. Go to the Courtside Cafe instead unless you just want pizza hut. Totally understand that it's a college campus but the market is probably the worst place to get food at ku ://

Grabbed a drink from the fridge and was yelled at by a staff member. Apparently the process of checking out at the Market has been changed YET AGAIN, and college students cannot be trusted to access a fridge. He continued to yell at me, even after I’d explained to him that the signage was at the entrance was confusing and I hadn’t known that this process had changed. He then told me that if I just wanted a drink, that I should have instead gone to the Hawk Shop upstairs. What...read full review
