Been here several times and each time is always as great as the last. I am a little sad however that the deviled eggs are no longer since that’s what pulled me into this restaurant the first time. But their menu is creative and delicious. The waiters and waitresses always outdo themselves. Will continue to dine here.

Abigail was great! She was very friendly answering questions about the numerous wines we tasted during our dinner. She also selected my entree, which was the pork chop, and it was amazing.

Great jazz duet made the nice long dinner perfect. Chicken au vin wonderful. Pork bacon very crisp. Nice place. Next time dessert will be planned. Wednesday nights 6-9 live music. Piano and sax were featured. Nice volume level.

Trying to be fine dining but it's not. Service was not up to par with the prices. TVs over the bars makes it seem like it's more of a sports bar than a wine place. The scallops were over cooked. Others enjoyed the lamb and salmon. Seemed overpriced for what you get. Wouldn't go back.

I was really excited about this restaurant but last night was a bit disappointing. We had a darling attentive waitress but we had to wait for over an hour for our food. We had told our servers we were in a hurry to get to the KU game. We didn't order anything that should have taken a long time. The pretzels were amazing dipped in a cheese sauce. I was underwhelmed with my burger. It was quite salty and I was very disappointed in the sweet potato fries. Maybe it was a bad night for them because the prior time I was there, it was all really good. I will definitely try it again and will hope it's a better night.

Service was great. The "greeters" were friendly and made good eye contact. The server was attentive, but not overly so. Drinks arrived quickly. Food arrived quickly. There was no quick pace or rush - we completely enjoyed yourselves and would come back. The menu was diverse as to taste and price; pretty much anyone can eat here and still afford their apartment rent!

So delicious! One of the best all-around meals I’ve had in Lawrence for a while. A lovely place for a “fancier” meal to celebrate, or just because. I believe our server’s name was Brian, and they were lovely and helpful!

We’ve eaten there 4 times over a span of 15 months. On each occasion, the food is very good and the service is abysmal. At first we thought post-pandemic restaurants tend to be short handed - we’ll withhold judgment. Two weeks ago, we had a part of 8 and reserved the private room. The hostess assured us that they had plenty of staff and the private room gets extra attention. Totally false. We were ignored repeatedly. It took over an hour for appetizers. !! The only time the servers showed up was when one of us got frustrated and went out to get them. I feel like we have given them multiple chances, but, sorry, never again.

The Wine Dive and Kitchen has a great menu and service. The happy hour offers a great opportunity to relax with good food and drinks at a reasonable price.

We love this place and have been there many times. There was live music by a guitarist and he should have been a littlel softer as the loud music made it difficult for conversation.

My partner and I had never been to Wine Dive before but we had excellent service from Abby and excellent food. The ambience was fantastic with an elegant dining room an beautiful live music! We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

FINALLY!!! This place was really great. Food quality was really good. Service was outstanding. I did not have to yell to have a conversation. Very nice interior finish. Really thrilled to see this in Lawrence! We will be back for sure. Highly recommend the Calamari!! Adhel is absolutely the best!!!

Soup, shrimp bisque, was good, lamb meat ball for appetizers was ok but the coq au vin was terrible. It seriously had to be a store bought rotisserie chicken halved put in a sauce that was just bland and no flavor. My father in law had fish tacos that he thought was basically fish sticks in a taco shell. And the wine that was recommended by a sommelier was nice but one note of a French wine but basically a Chambourcin from Missouri. It was not super flavorful and thin but did have a distinct flavor that the Chambourcin grape sure carries. The price point for the entree was very high and had serious problematic on flavor that came out. The server was very kind, friendly, interesting, and was great at making our evening pleasant.

On a whim, we decided to take our college student to dinner. We are all a bit of foodies and enjoy quality food which is exactly what we found here. My husband got the black cod, my son got the duck breast, and I got the scallops and while we all agreed that all were really good, we all liked our picks the best and we all agreed that this is an absolutely must do again. If we lived nearby, my husband and I would become regulars.
