Daylight Donuts - Leavenworth

Today, I went to Daylight Donuts because my child was hoping to get some donut holes. I admit it was late, we pulled into the drive thru at about 11:50 AM. There was a vehicle ahead of us, who stopped to read the menu. The driver pulled forward and rang the bell for service. She waited a couple of minutes, then pulled ahead without being served. I pulled up, wondering if she was frustrated by the wait or if the shop was closed. I noticed, through the glass there was quite a selection of donuts still left and, while I was looking, the lady working, looked out through the window and flipped the "Open" sign to "Closed". At this point, it was 11:57. She didn't acknowledge us, not even to make a last minute sale. I have never experienced having someone close shop and not help the last customers that had arrived before the shop closed.

So how is it when you order online and go to pick up your food that supposedly it was already sold out? The system was supposed to be where you order it and it secures the food so you know it is there. However the lady at the store said it had been sold out for hours.

I ordered hot latte. I saw the lady steamed milk and then she used brew coffee to make my latte. I asked her and she said, “yeah, it’s latte.” I put in my cup and saw it’s all milk. Will never come here again.

Great donuts

Love our local Daylight Donuts. Get a baked cinnamon roll! You will not be sorry. So heavy you must carry it with two hands!

The pinecone was great, donuts are always fresh. Jamie was super nice and always makes me delicious coffee. My go-to stop before work in the mornings.
