Ten Penny Restaurant & Bar

Wife and I stoped in, took forever for drinks to arrive. Food took just as long. Ham sandwich was soggy, fries soggy, chicken wings way overcooked. Asked for napkins and that took forever, had to ask twice, asked for my side of blue cheese twice, even had to ask for the bill twice! Not worth trying again.

Best Big Soft Pretzel Around!!
Still got that drinkable-Ranch dressing. And the WINGS!!! Wowza, not sure whats in the sauce but its an amazing mix of sweet and heat!

The food is excellent! You have to get a pretzel or house made chips w/ranch with your meal!! The bartender Leslie makes fun drinks (alcohol AND non-alcohol). Definitely worth stopping by. Especially on game day! They have a free raffle with really cool (not cheap) prizes!! Go chiefs!!

Good atmosphere and service. It is a bar and grill but sometimes it is so loud that you can barely have a conversation at your table. I visited around 5:30pm on a Wednesday, so no big games or anything that made it especially busy but towards the end of my visit, it had gotten busier and people were waiting to be seated. Service is mostly good but I think the wait staff was spread thin during my visit as they would check in and then be gone for a long time. Probly 20 minutes or more. By the time we would see the waitress again, we needed so many things that we didnt get everything or it took multiple trips which delayed service. I love that they have a big variety in their menu, something for everyone, but the taste is mediocre at best. Had the pot roast and it was very strange - had a smoked flavor that reminded me more like BBQ than a pot roast dinner. I would not get that again. Always hear good things about this place but it wouldn't be my first or second choice in town.

Every time I stop into Ten Penny it’s a guaranteed good time—amazing staff, delicious food, and the best place to catch the game. Leavenworth wouldn’t be the same without it! The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, and the energy they bring makes every night memorable. Thank you for creating a place we all love to gather!

The service is absolutely terrible! The food is even worse! And at that at, the pricing is hire and it’s not worth a penny to me. The owner is absolutely rude and uses foul language in front of and to customers. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

The owner is incredibly rude and arrogant. He was screaming profanity at my friend. He dropped the F bomb multiple times. Enter at your own risk.
