“Our group of four have traveled most of the world, completed many river and ocean cruises and visited 28 US cities together. This dinner was to celebrate my 76th birthday. We all loved everything about our evening at BB. The food was fantastic but the experience of walking and gazing through the farm before dinner was a perfect experience. Brian and Kristen have created a unique experience that anyone and everyone would enjoy. Get away from the city, truly relax and enjoy a meal that is as wonderful as any you find in Kansas City. Stan, Susan, Tom and Sally cannot thank Brian and Kristen enough. They are true artists.“

“I just had the honor of being a guest at an event catered by Evan Williams Catering this evening and the only word that I can think of to describe it is PHENOMENAL. The variety of offerings, the service, the presentation, and arguably most important, the flavors, were all truly top notch.“

“Mr Bacon BBQ Catering brings exactly the kind of food and atmosphere people hope for at Kansas events — flavorful barbecue, relaxed energy, and service that keeps guests happy throughout the entire night.

What stands out most is that the food feels authentic and made with care instead of feeling mass-produced like a lot of catering can. The smoked meats, brisket, pulled pork, and sides all have that classic backyard BBQ flavor while still being presented professionally for weddings and private events.

As Wichita DJs and Photo Booth providers, we work alongside a lot of catering teams, and Mr Bacon BBQ does a great job keeping service flowing smoothly during busy receptions and large gatherings. Guests stay fed, lines move efficiently, and the overall atmosphere stays fun and comfortable without slowing down the event.

One thing guests consistently seem to enjoy is how approachable and crowd-friendly the food is. Good barbecue naturally brings people together, and this catering setup fits perfectly for weddings, company parties, outdoor events, and casual upscale receptions.

For anyone looking for Lawrence-area BBQ catering that delivers strong flavor, reliable service, and a relaxed Kansas-style event experience, Mr Bacon BBQ Catering is definitely worth checking out.
