African Dream Cuisine Reviews
My son wanted to try this place out in the Lenexa Public Market, and I’m glad he suggested it! The salmon, chicken, veggies, rice, and potatoes were all amazing. We are excited to go back to try out the fufu and the oxtail!
Had the smoked brisket and cabbage today at the independence center location! It was so good! Definitely will keep going.
I just had another fantastic dinner at African Dream Cuisine—this place always feels like home! Thanks to owner Neba and Stella's incredible cooking, my taste buds journeyed through West Africa.

The owners have brought authentic West African flavors to Kansas City, with dishes like fufu and peanut sauce being particular standouts. Customers praise the generous portions, perfect for family-style dining, and the warm, welcoming service that makes them feel like part of the extended family.
African Dream Cuisine now has two locations, one in Lenexa Public Market and another in Independence Center, making it accessible to a wider audience. Whether you're craving West African cuisine or simply looking for a unique and delicious dining experience, African Dream Cuisine is a must-visit. The meals were very delicious potatoes, spoon tender brisket, spoon tender oxtails and goat, couple with rice, cabbage and a very delicious red pepper sauce that was very pleasing to the pallet. The food presentation was wonderful and the flavoring of it all was spectacular. The man working here was a lovely gentleman, very kind with a warm and inviting smile, and seems to love what he does. A wonderful spot to have lunch. The food was good and the atmosphere was interesting with all the different eateries in the same building.
