I had the best salad at input salad last week. If I hadn’t eaten it so quickly I would have taken a picture of it! I had a quick conversation with the owner and I was amazed at how she opened the place by herself as a full time student! I wish her the best of luck as a business owner and that everyone in Manhattan KS should come to input salad you won’t be disappointed. Plus there is a super cute pie place in the same building that adds to a quick little treat after the delicious salad.

This place is a gem in the heart of downtown! The staff is amazing and the salads they serve are both high-quality and unique. I highly recommend this cozy spot to anyone in search of something local.

Input salad is part of a two store operation with Therapie. Therapie has desserts (pie, scones, handpies) and input salad provides the salads. Everything is made to-go, so you do not wait for anything to be made. This is nice, but I would have liked to have the salad made to order for dining in. I also got a strawberry rhubarb handpie and that was truly delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant has lots of plants and is comfortable. There are not a ton of tables, so not everyone would be able to dine in if it is busy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the ambiance and decor and this adorable little shop. It is set up so that you can easily pick up a salad or pie and eat there or take it with you. HOWEVER, for eating in, I would really love to have a real plate (and real glasss). It was nice to have real silverware, though (but knives are needed for those of us who like our lettuce chopped. Also, because the salads are pre-made it is not possible to swap things out, which is hard for those of us w/ food sensitivities. It was very nice to be able to add protein for a reasonable price. Salads and dressings were very fresh, and yummy. But, would have been even better on a plate :-)

Tried a salad for dinner tonight and it was fresh and tasty! Kale, apple, prosciutto, walnuts, red onions, and cranberries. Great service, convenient location, and friendly service.
