La Jefa Mexicana Reviews
We went tonight for the first time. Everything was delicious. The Birria Pizza was 10/10. House margaritas really good. The salsa was spot on. We are definitely putting it on a regular rotation.

La Jefa Mexicana is the best place to get street tacos and birria within a 40-mile radius. The restaurant offers a true traditional taste with a great selection on the menu. Customers praise the layout, hospitality, and the enjoyable mojito experience. The authentic Mexican atmosphere and homestyle food have made it a local favorite in Kansas. The family-owned restaurant serves fast and delicious food, welcoming all, including families. The food is always fantastic, with great service and fair prices. This place is a must-try! They serve the absolute BEST fajitas, like a dance party in your mouth. The salsa was so fresh and refreshing… delicious. The cheesecake chimichanga with raspberry is a dessert to melt into. Servers are super attentive and very friendly, even offering samples of new dessert options for free. Try everything! The original little street tacos (pollo/carnitas) are a favorite, but it's all amazing! Recent reviews mention the special Jefa burrito, which was good but needed extra sauce, and the shrimp tacos that had breaded shrimp, which some customers enjoyed if they liked breading. The atmosphere is fun, festive, and clean, with chips and salsa praised as some of the best at a Mexican restaurant. Customers wish they would add Hawaiian pork tacos to the menu, and some noted that the food and service are great, though cleanliness could be improved. Despite small critiques, La Jefa Mexicana remains a beloved spot for authentic, homestyle Mexican food.
