Strawberry Hill Baking Company is a favorite place for Povitica. The Provitica and potica are amazing, just like what mother and grandmother used to make for the holidays. The absolute favorite is the cream cheese, with the apple cinnamon coming in a close second. The original coffeecake is also a hit. The english walnut Povitica is outstanding, and the coffee cakes are almost as good. The cinnamon walnut and mocha coffee are recommended. One plus for the bakery has been consistency in the breads, though this year the recipe seemed different with less nuts and sweeter filling. One awesome thing is that samples of the bread are available to try, which are not tiny and fresh. Several specialty breads are seasonal, like pumpkin in the Fall. The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They also ship, though delivery needs work. Povitica is sold in smaller loaves for holiday gifts.
