The hummus is about as authentic as you can get. We went to Israel a while back, so we have a basis for comparison. The portions are plentiful. The food is tasty. Definitely recommend it.

Ate here for the first time last night. It did not disappoint! We will definitely be back. Our friends who joined us eat regularly at the Independence location. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. The gyro was one of the best I have ever eaten. My husband ordered the falafel platter and manakish. It was all delicious too.The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

The young man running the shop worked very hard and was very kind, but was obviously completely stressed. The food was not mideastern whatsoever. It lacked any notion of spice, and the meat pie tasted like an unflavored Sloppy Joe.
Service was the main highlight, the employee explained A LOT to us and was extremely helpful!
The food was the added bonus for us! Everything was so flavorful!
Definitely recommend trying it because you'll love it!

Can't believe it took me so long to drop in. I can't say enough good things about the food. Best Mediterranean food in KC. By far! Portions are generous. Healthy food. A lot of variety.
