The Big Biscuit Reviews
We tried the new location on Johnson Drive. I’ve eaten at other locations over the past years. I won’t go back. Order was mixed up. Portions small and overpriced. The side of hash browns with peppers was pathetic, a few diced peppers sprinkled on top. $8 for small juice and soda. Ridiculous.
Very loud restaurant, the food was decent but charging $6 for the same exact coffee you pay $2 for at any gas station is crazy. The prices here are not budget friendly...We ordered 2 coffees, 2 pancakes and an omelet and it came to $50... how? idk.
I used to love this place and eat at this location often. However after coming under new management they've let go many of their employees without notice before Christmas. With two other Kansas locations closed in November without notifying employees before hand, I won't be back to any of their locations...

The Big Biscuit is a reliable favorite, known for its delicious country, fried steak, and eggs, along with cinnamon roll pancakes. With friendly and attentive service, it offers great breakfast and lunch options. The atmosphere is clean and casual, making it an upscale breakfast joint. Portion sizes are plentiful, but the half order of biscuits and gravy is a good option for smaller appetites. The restaurant has lots of seating and is quite large, allowing for reservations for gatherings. While many customers enjoy their visits and find the staff to be very friendly, some have noted issues with slowness in service, mentioning waits of 10-15 minutes before being greeted. However, the food is generally well-received, with highlights including the Mayberry omelette, hash browns, and fluffy biscuits with sausage gravy, which exceeded expectations. Overall, The Big Biscuit continues to be a favored spot for those looking for a satisfying meal.
