1st time here and knew it was going to be good because of the line. Had flavors that most traditional ice cream stores don't. Very smooth and yummy. Only ding is the size of place, very tight quarters.
Betty Rae's Ice Cream is a popular Kansas City ice cream shop known for its hand-made, hand-scooped ice cream and unique flavor combinations. What i figured out is the ice cream is all hand-made and hand-scooped, using fresh, local ingredients.
I had the classic Chocolate Brownie and my partner had S'mores which had the burnt marshmallow live made by the employee right infront of us. Both the icecream taste really fresh compared to the other icecreams...

I also had the lavender honey. I have had so many lavender ice cream flavors, and this one was by FAR the best mix I’ve had.
I wish I lived in KC again. I wish they had a non-dairy version for my wife to try. But until then… It’ll be just for me to enjoy.
