I got menudo and barbacoa to go. Way too much pig foot in my menudo. That was 80% of the meat. I like the pata, it was just too much. The meat chunks were alsp cut pretty big. I take big bites, and i thought the meat was cut to big even for me. The barbacoa was amazing! I will still go here. The food is usually really good in my opinion. Maybe they were just off their game this last weekend.
This was my time here. We came as we heard the tacos were the best in Kansas City. For me, the hunt for the best Taco in KC is still on. The restaurant section was very dirty. We had to ask for a table - any table- to be would clean. The tacos were meh. Nothing special. The beans and rice the same. The grocery section is interesting as is the meat. You would be hard pressed to find a better street taco in the area. Just don’t go during lunch our dinner hours as they are packed and sometimes you can wait in line for 15 to 20 minutes.
