Stopped in this place while visiting from Phoenix. We had second thoughts because the parking lot was empty, but it was early so we decided to give it a try. We were NOT sorry! The owner greeted us at the door and was very friendly. We ordered margaritas which were great, then ordered our food which was excellent!! The portions are very generous allowing us to take some home and eat the next day for lunch. If you want great authentic Mexican food, don’t miss this restaurant!! I’ll definitely go back on my next visit to Olathe!!
Great food go there it’s fricking awesome.
Great food and services. Their chef knows their way around seafood. We haven't had any fish/shrimp/crab/oyster entrée that is a disappointment. My favorite is ceviche. Tres leches cake is very tasty and bar tenders make pretty mean drinks ? Plus they serve brunch at weekends. Who could ask for more ?
All around Great food and very friendly service! I highly recommend them!
The food is delicious and the service is great. They have the best ceviche and uniquely prepared, flavorful seafood. My son and husband don't love seafood so they get the tacos and quesadillas, which are great as well! The margaritas are very good, which is always a plus!! You must try this place.
Excellent food and service . Some of the best ceviche ever highly recommend
Amazing Drinks and the very best ceviche we have had. It’s a must visit for sure. Will make this a regular visit for sure!
Incredible civiche and even better staff. Felt very comfortable and welcomed at the bar, despite dining alone. The owner was lovely and the restaurant had comfortable and classy interior. Would highly recommend, many non seafood options as well, for anyone who may be on the fence.
Highly recommend, wonderful atmosphere, delicious fresh food, very welcoming!Ss soon as my daughter and I walked in we we’re greeted and seated by one of the owners. It was a casual friendly feel, this was our first visit and they are not normally open on Mondays, but because of the football game they were open with a limited menu. The owner brought us different food to try since it was our first experience. We enjoyed our time and the food was delicious, all fresh and intentionally made!I have never felt the comfort and ease being in a restaurant before! The individual care was above and beyond! We just recently returned on a busy Friday night, amazing food! Great service! And the owner remembered us!
I had the nachos with steak. Like most places they didn't layer as they dressed it. They piled the chips then put the toppings. So the middle was dry by the time I got to it. The flavors were great. The steak was seasoned well. My wife had steak fajitas. The steak and veggies were plenty for two. They only provided 3 tortillas and charged 1.50 for 3 more. I am not sure I understood the theme of the food. I like seafood but this was like Mexican seafood. I didn't see much on the menu that made me want to order and go back.

Excellent food- healthy, fresh, and so flavorful. The building was very clean and we had spectacular service.
We have eaten at El Maviri several times. The food is always amazing and very delicious. The beer is always cold and the margs are great! The service is very attentive, friendly, and efficient. We will be going back again!
Casual Mexican seafood, but several non-seafood options. Wonderful food! Small, fun atmosphere. Great service!
Great service, good food. Happy hour margarita and nachos are solid deals. Place has a really good vibe!
