The food was very good. I was surprised how inexpensive the food was. I will definitely go back to eat at Sakura’s again.

my 5 year old son liked the train, but the food was mediocre and the service polite but not attentive. would not go back again as there are many other great sushi places in the kc area!

First time trying out the Sushi Train here in Olathe. You can also choose the option to order off the menu. We went ahead did the train and prices depends on the color plates. The sushi was good just wish they had a lot more sushi options. Train was cute. When we showed up more people start to flow in and we were just battling to get the sushi first before they replenish it. Service was great even though I did spill my water they handled it very well. Price was actually affordable. We had many plates and spent almost $45.

The food was good, not as impressive as other places, but large portions. And neat to see the sushi train. It's a neat experience and sushi was good 6-7/10. Service was fast and friendly!

I have been a couple of times at lunch and there is rarely very many people in this establishment. The food, that comes around on a model train, is good but the selection is very limited. In my two visits, the same 5 or 6 items are what the owner prepares. To be fair, he will make you something else if you ask. Charges are by the plate, depending on the color of the plate, ranging from $5 to $8.

Had the dinner box with tempura, sushi, ginger salad and miso soup. Great value and good size serving. Nice tempura batter, not heavy . Salad dressing has a ginger dressing that's not too spicy . The kids loved watching the sushi train go around the restaurant. Others enjoyed the udon soup.

If you're going for lunch, wait til a bit later. We arrived as they opened, so they were making the sushi still. The best suggestion is to wait til noon or a bit after, and the train will be full. :)
