Sylas & Maddy's Homemade Ice Cream

The ice cream is good. The staff is very friendly. But I find it hard to order from this place. There are a lot of items with fun names, like Mahomes Madness or Sunday Funday, but those names don't help me to know what's in the ice cream. I have to walk up to each tub and read what's in them. Then the person behind me just starts ordering while I'm reading. Maybe it's a customer problem, maybe it's how they handle customers. Maybe it's me. Either way it's been a frustrating experience the last two times I've taken kids. In the end, they love the ice cream. I gave the atmosphere 2 stars b/c I just want a menu with all the flavors and what's in them. Does it exist and I just haven't found it? I'll scan a QR code at the door or read a laminated menu. But I still don't know what's in several items on the board.

Best Ice Cream in Kansas City. Only place we'll go. But for the love...please post a photo of your menu on Social Media everyday!! I send my hubby to pick up most of the time...and always has to send me a photo. I get that some flavors sell out and get swapped out...but still!

Super awesome every time we go there ice cream is delicious and yes you can try it. Never had bad service but this time was exceptional the waffle cone is a little thin and it broke right at the register and the ice cream fell on the floor. They gave me a new one immediately made it so easy.

You’re telling me I had to pay $7 for a Sunday and can’t even get different flavors and the mint wasn’t even minty just chocolate and forgot my brownie in it. I feel like going to basket robins would have been better and I could have gotten different flavors

The ice cream was delicious and they have many flavors to choose from. I'll definitely be coming back here to try more flavors. I got the strawberry cheesecake & apple pie, they both were really good! 👍

Mediocre ice cream. The coffee ice cream tasted a little strange but the kids liked theirs. Nothing outstanding. I’d probably save my money ($5 per cone with 1 scoop) and go to a chain ice cream shop that’s more economical.
