Uncle Buck's Grill

First time here, took company from out if town. All you can eat panko fried shrimp pretty good. First batch out just ok, next batch much better. Fish & chips fried cod was fair. The beer batter was pretty old and the fisn not fresh. Shrimp tacos pretty good, BLT chicken wrap good. Onion rings very good, hot & fresh, clam chowder probably best part of the meal.

If you rated it on the decor alone, I could see a really high rating. Nice seating inside and out, although I've never seen anyone sitting outside. But, that's as good as it gets and where it stops. The food is mediocre and lackluster. Even the mixed drinks were sub-par. Service was spotty at best. No greeting when you walk in, and you don't know if you're supposed to wait to be seated or seat yourself. As a transplant to KC one of the things we missed was all of the live music venues back hope (Chicago). Back home, there were tons of places you could go to enjoy live music in a relaxed environment like a beer garden... That's what we've really enjoyed about Uncle Bucks Grill as during the warm weather months they have live music on Friday nights out on their covered patio..
