Well let's just say they are flat awesome staff that work there. They also clearly could take on the Marines and give them a run for their money. My kind of folks. They are also hard on store managers and I think the current record is six months for one staying. Lol 😆.
Food is OK but not great. But if you want fine dining don't eat at a waffle house. The place is clean unlike most Waffle Houses. But it's getting expensive to eat there due to price hikes and now the egg shortage.
Parking: Next door to the Drury Inn and Long horn steakhouse near kci airport.
Kid-friendliness: Very kind and friendly towards kids.

My wife and I had a great experience here! We rarely go out to breakfast, but we both had a Saturday morning free and she wanted to take me here, as I’ve been mentioning that I want to eat here. We each got a breakfast bowl and some coffee, and split a waffle. With tip it was close to $40, but it was really good and the service was fast and friendly. I believe we will be back some day!

Understaffed/overwhelmed. Waited 20 mins or more for coffee alone. Food arrived in a timely manner but forgot my waffle and forgot to inform me they had no biscuits and gravy. Longtime wafflehouse patron and I've never seen such poor service.

When we got there, the cook was evidently in an argument with the waiter.. None of the tables had been cleared.. And then all the cook wanted to do was tell us what was going on...

First time back in almost a decade. Arrived in time to see a couple arguing in the parking lot. We got seated and ate some delicous breakfast food while we enjoyed the kitchen staff yelling at each other and shouting racial profanities at one another. Then before we left we got to watch the cops arrive, arrest some guy in the parking lot for possession, and then began searching his car. The bacon was also excellent. 10/10 would definitely come back again.
My order was incorrect. They forgot to put cheese in. They put it on top. It was nasty. The burger had bacon. Not what I ordered. It did not have tomato or lettuce. I've eaten at Waffle House for years. This was the worst.

We came in to 4 workers, on Christmas night, and there was only 4 people eating at the bar and a 2 booth. Every single other table was nasty and the floor, we sat there and waited cause we were hungry, and finally another worker , tall guy came and clocked in cleaned our table, so we sat down. Then this same guy looks at our server, small lady Stephanie and says this guy has been sitting her 3 in a half minutes you should have taken his order. And bless her ❤️, she didn't realize I'm southern and not a mid westerner. I'm also a biker wife and from our parts we do not speak at women like that. So I spoke up and simply stated, that we waited for 10 min for our tables to be cleaned then we sat down and was waiting for our order to be taken, we saw the waitress was a little overwhelmed and now embarrassed because of the way he spoke to her in front of customers. But he takes the guys order is rude to her, meanwhile we are still sitting here while I get madder, this guy gets his food first. Then another server, had a guy walk up to place a to go order, and she stopped what she was doing to take his order. Meanwhile we were still waiting for her to clean a table or something, but the togo ordwr was out the door also, before we sat down. And we told our server, it was ok and we are fine. She remained very professional throughout the entire service. It was a stressful day for everyone. The other server didn't deserve to be spoke to like that. We traveled from GA to Kansas and I've never given waffle house a bad review, but for this to be the only one in Kansas, come on guys please represent Waffle House correctly. The cooks need to be retrained. Scrambled eggs over cooked and brown, waffles dark brown , sausage very light. Toast was even over cooked. And the hashbrowns were so crispy I thought I had potato sticks. Ridiculous I don't recommend anything from there, it's all over cooked.
