Great lunch buffet

The lunch buffet is amazing!
Also strongly recommended outside of buffet hours. The food is delicious!

Their consistency and quality is so hard to find. This remains one of the best restaurants out there.

Good fried dumplings. The sauce was really good. The crab Rangoon had a good sweet & spicy sauce but the Rangoon itself was mostly a weird overly sweet cream cheese with almost no crab or onion. Not good.

We ordered our meal, which was okay! We ordered two duck meals to go so we could eat on Sunday! There was no meat except for a bunch of fat! The little piece of meat we did find, I couldn't tell, because there was way too much fat and not enough meat to detect what it was. I feel that that it wasn't duck based on the loads of fat! It was gross and we had to throw them out!

If you ever wonder why this place always has an empty parking lot, it's not just you. I recently went in to order chicken pad thai for carry out. I didn't check what they gave me, but when I picked up the order, I noticed it was pretty heavy. Lucky me! I thought. When I actually got home and tried eating this, I went for a few minutes and noticed I hadn't tasted a single piece of chicken. So I started digging and found basically nothing but onions. Eventually I was able to pull out about 3 ounces of stringy chicken from about 3 pounds of noodles. I had to wonder if they had overloaded the noodles to make up for the lack of chicken, and when I went back to complain, they basically confirmed my suspicions.

They refused to give me a refund, and told me that I don't know what to expect from Pad Thai. I guess I've just been spoiled by the myriad of other places that serve it, as well as my Thai ex, so I appreciate the education. They said they wanted me to pay half for a dish I had to return to their restaurant, and I told them if they weren't going to give me my money back, they could keep the food and the money and I'd simple write a review. They decided this was perfectly acceptable, so here we are.

I dunno about you, but I don't want to buy food from people who cut corners with their customers, because if they are cutting those kind of corners, I can only imagine the other stuff they're doing that I can't see.

Go to Lemongrass Thai. Slightly more expensive, way better flavors, and they aren't a ripoff.

The buffet here is pretty good. The selection isn’t huge but at least the food has seasoning. Their papaya salad is good but I wish it was hotter. The pho is pretty good but could use more flavoring. They don’t provide you hoisin sauce for the pho but do provide you sriracha and toppings but who eats pho with no hoisin?

Tbh this place was so bad omg. The food and everything, I wish I had gone some place else. This restaurant has lack of seasonings and money greedy. They charged my family a large amount of money for barely any food we got. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who like their foods tasty. I would recommend it to people who like no seasoning on their food and to be nasty.

Yah... The Asian food in KC is definitely nothing like what you can get in LA or Vegas... But this place was pretty good. And comparing to some of the other Asian food we tried I decided to give it 5 stars. Tom yum soup was decent. Pineapple fried rice was good. Pad see ewe was good. Papaya salad was nicely spicy but flavor was off... It was too salty and not sweet enough. Kiddo loved the ribs. Crispy fish was good. Def go if you're craving Thai food.

Very low key Chinese restaurant. Lots of freshly made food. Entrees are generous and the people are so warm and kind there.
Highly recommended!!!

Vegetarian options: I believe most dishes could be made without meat. Also there are vegetable entrees.

I thought about not sharing but I think Mamas should know. They charge buffet for 5 year old and younger(even 2 year old). As long as your baby isn’t infant, they will charge your baby. My baby is 26month old and they are proud to charge her. I said to my waiter that I haven’t seen any restaurants charge 2 year old for a buffet and he said “we do” with an attitude. I don’t have problem paying but come on… I don’t like to pay for the attitude.
Idk am I just a crazy and mean mama?
Oh wait! I guess they have right to charge gratuity on my toddler. What in the world! I guess they don’t want our business and we will take it elsewhere. Oh yeah… he wasn’t the owner so he doesn’t care.
