Bawarchi biryanis Indian Cuisine - Kansas City

As a Hyderabadi, I was excited to try the Hyd Goat Dum Biryani, but unfortunately it didn’t resemble authentic Hyderabadi biryani in terms of flavor, aroma, or cooking style. I understand that every restaurant has its own recipe, but using “Hyderabad” in the name creates an expectation of the traditional dish.

My concern is that people who have never had real Hyderabadi biryani may assume this is what it tastes like, which doesn’t do justice to the original cuisine. If the recipe is your own style, it would be better to call it simply “Dum Biryani.” Otherwise, consider making it closer to authentic Hyderabadi biryani.

I had a terrible experience i love mutton dum biryani but here i just got 3 pieces and plenty of masala rice which i cannot able to eat they should know how pack im very disappointed dont try to-go

We come from town where there aren't many choices of Indian restaurant. We drove 5 hours just for Indian foods in this area. This restaurant was one of the places we wanted to visit. The food was good. The service was extremely fast. The south Indian woman working was very swift in walking and doing everything. The hairy south Indian guy (owner?) Was very fast in providing service too. So her and him are the only two people working the floor and there were 7 tables that came right after us. All of the people got their orders taken fast and food was served fast. We are going some place else tomorrow for lunch and dinner but this place was good.

Normally, I’m not the biggest fan of Indian restaurants around here, but I could not stop eating!!! The food was beautiful, tasted great, and was generally just so good. The curry was flavorful and creamy, but not overpowering at all. Everything came together so well, and the rice complimented all the foods superbly. This is even without mentioning the quality of service and interior decoration.
When I went into the restaurant, the decoration was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It seemed very high end, and the staff were quick to welcome and seat us. On top of that, they were very friendly and accommodating. One of the staff even gave us fun facts about a fish we ordered, talking about its quality and health benefits. Overall, a very hospitable and comfortable atmosphere. Personally, I also thought the music was beautiful. Like genuine fire.
Finally, when we checked out, the price wasn’t too high at all. Especially not for the quality of food and service given. All in all, the food was extremely delicious, the interior was very comfortable, and the staff were super nice. Absolutely worth every cent. 10/10

Food was great, and the restaurant had a very nice interior! Service was awesome too; we ordered the drumstick curry thinking it was chicken, and ended up discovering a new vegetable after the owner stopped by our table and told us about it. Whole family loved it!

We usually go to this place to eat most often. Today was another experience of great food and great customer service. Kaju paneer in their new menu is a must try with their garlic naan. Love this place as always. Highly recommended

I come here quite frequently, I would say at least 3 or 4 times a month. The food just keeps getting better and better. The chili chicken never lets me down. I am an adventurous person when it comes to trying new things and I’ve scoured a good chunk of the menu and have loved a lot of it. Prabhu is always here and makes sure I’m happy with the whole experience start to finish.

I recently visited New Bawarchi Indian Cuisine and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, especially the biryani, which was packed with flavor and rich spices. The chicken tikka masala initially came out a bit too salty, but the staff quickly remade it without any hassle—and the second time, it was absolutely perfect.

The customer service really stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in the area!

We recently dined at Bawarchi Kansas City, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. We began with the Guntur Chicken, which delivered a bold, fiery kick and was bursting with flavor — perfect for spice lovers. For the main course, I ordered the Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani, and it did not disappoint. The goat was tender, the rice perfectly cooked, and the dish was rich with beautifully balanced, aromatic spices. The Mango Lassi was incredibly refreshing and paired wonderfully with the meal.!!!!!
On another visit, I tried the Goat Mandi Biryani, and it was equally impressive. The meat was juicy and cooked to perfection, while the rice carried a delicious smoky aroma with just the right level of seasoning. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was excellent. The authentic mandi flavor truly stood out.

Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. Absolutely delicious — I’ll definitely be returning!
