They raised their prices. A bit more expensive than KPOT down the road. Got rid of their steamed egg which is a BBQ staple due to egg prices but what can you do am I right? Otherwise brisket is great. Short rib as well

The food is great here, but I will say for the all-you-can-eat I wish they had more variety of meats. They have good sides that come with the all-you-can-eat and the soybean soup is delicious as well. The fried cheese corn is fantastic. Overall great service and good food, I just think to keep up with the other offerings in the area as far as Korean and Japanese barbecue they should offer more variety of meats.

This is a truly authentic Korean restaurant. I haven’t had Korean food like this since we lived there.
From the barley tea to the cooking meat at your table or bibimbop in sizzling stone bowls, this is a great place!

You'd have to go crazy to eat here. The meat won't be served until it's time. As promised, it's all you can eat. If you don't have the courage, don't go out and open a shop. It's embarrassing. It's three small things.

I have tried a few Korean restaurants in the KC area, and found this place to be the most authentic in terms of taste! I lived in Korea for almost 8 years, and only recently moved back to KC from living abroad. I have been missing Korean food like crazy, so I was happy to finally taste a bit of home. I definitely recommend this place for bbq! It's better than Kpot in terms of authenticity. That place didn't even have 쌈장 ssamjang (a red sauce that is used for dipping type meat in and making wraps).... like wtf. And they don't have 계란찜 (steamed egg souffle). However, Choga has both, and the 반찬 (side dishes) are good. They taste just like the ones in Korea. The manager that was working when we came in was really nice too. We spoke a bit and I was able to order in Korean as it was more comfortable for me.
In terms of service I did have to call my waitress over a bit, but then again I'm used to doing that as in Korea you typically shout out for the servers or press a button to call them. But I can see how others might be put off by the service, but you just need to be more forward and not afraid to call for them.
Overall, my dad and I loved it. It's a bit expensive, but all Korean bbq places are here. It is well worth it for nice occasions though. I'm interested in trying the other dishes next time I visit!

Eating by myself and need nothing to get service and receipt tip starts 18% to 25%. Why I have to pay 18%? So my meal cost me $24

Parking: Only couple tables of customers. Quite place.

Came here because I wanted to check out the Korean food in the area. Our praty of 3 did not opt for the AYCE bbq. When we arrived on a weekday for dinner, it was pretty empty so I would say no need to make reservations. The vibe is a no frills place. Oddly too quiet, they should've played some music or something. There were lots of people coming in and out for pick ups so perhaps that's what this place is known for.

We ordered a variety of things. All in all, the food wasn't bad. They had a good variety of banchans. (Only allowed 1 refill of each though? Saddened my Korean heart). The stew we got was great. Maybe the prices were a bit high?

All in all, I had a good experience. Not sure if I'd go back again (would be curious to try other Korean restaurants in the area) but I do commend their authentic dishes!

Do not get the all you can eat, it is a mandatory tip and the service and food was absolutely terrible. Will never come back

Bulgogi was some of the best I've ever had. Sides were pretty alright and there were several. The soup was a bit bland for me and was seved boiling hot. Service was good. The vibe of the place was kind of off though. Lights were super dim and it had a warehouse feel to it.
