Went for the all you can eat with 7 other people and the service was super slow. We didnt know about the time limit and they were service 2 plates of meats every 20 minutes for 8 of us. We all left hungry with how slow the service was and the portion they were given.

Korean BBQ was pretty good. But the seafood pancake was soggy inside plus the squid/octopus was a bit hard. I explained this to the owner (I'm assuming that's who she was) who told me they'd still have to charge me for it. So to save everyone's time and money... don't order that. Not sure how the other regular food though. Hopefully it's better, but just know they'll charge you even if the food tastes bad so dine at your own risk.

Food wasn’t bad, but charges you for sharing food, small portions for cost, very stingy

I had never been to this place and based on a fb post saying how wonderful it was we were excited to go today. The girl that seated us didn't explain our options. I wanted to just order a meal off the menu and my husband and my daughter wanted the barbecue. She rushed us to order. She didn't care to notice nor did she bring us utensils and plates when we asked for them. When she brought out all the food we had no utensils and she carelessly just walked away. Every other table had utensils. She refused to take the empty bowl that my husband asked her to take and we had absolutely no room on the table and she never cleared anything out of the way. She didn't replenish the vegetables or sauces. The vegetables were already on the table for who knows how long before we even got there. We were each charged $33 and she only brought one soup that my husband had. The menu also said the meal included boiled eggs and she said you don't get boiled eggs. Mind you we were the only customers there the ENTIRE time. She never asked if we needed any more of anything. We were completely dismissed. Two times in a row she brought my husband's order to me and mine to him. I'm usually pretty lax when it comes to service but there was a problem at every turn. We weren't planning to tip and they forced an 18% service fee on us. She definitely did not earn that. So we paid $140 for that disappointing experience.

Haven’t came here for long time and the place has been changed so much in a bad way. The food has no flavor and the service that I received was not great! I came in the morning and there was only one staff serving. She was care less and just so passive. We waited long for our food which doesn’t make sense to me because it was just me, my aunt and other 2 people in the restaurant! And with that bad service and nothing special, we are being charged 18% for service fee? I haven’t seen that at any other restaurant! Wouldn’t recommend!

We were asked to pay and leave after 40 minutes. We were not being loud or rude. When we asked the manager why, she said our time was up. We told her we have 90 min according to their menu, and she just shrugged it off and walked away. The 40 min includes the time it took for them to sit us at a table the time we had to wait everytime we needed to order food. They had one server for the entire restaurant, so the service was very slow, and we had to ask for certain things 2 or 3 time ls before we got them. We used to go here every week but that will be the last time.

The Korean Bbq is delicious. The meat quality is much better than the rest of the Korean Restaurants in KC n MO area. Enjoyed our food here.

Edited: 15 min after leaving the restaurant, I'm holed up in a random grocery store bathroom, rethinking my life. My stomach is gurgling for round 2 for the toilet! 🫠

I remember when this place used to be good. If I could rate this a 0 stars, that is what I would give it. Complete trash service. They changed their time limit from 2 hrs to 1 hr without informing us when we sat down. They cut us off after the hour from when we arrived, even though the menu says 1.5 hrs (See photos). When we told the server girl, she said it was the owner who is strict on the time limit and nothing she can do. In the amount of time, slow to bring our order (only got in 4 orders), but so quick to bring us two billing receipts (which was a duplicate). Got a 5th order after we complained about the time limit and slow service to bring us our next orders. She also say the cooks are the ones to prep the orders, so she had no control on how quick to bring them out. We were the only customer from when we started to when they cut us off at 1 hour (See video).

Overall, the server girl was terrible and unprofessional. She was on the phone the whole time we were there, and had it on speaker like no one was present, so rude. Eating at this place costed us $42 per person with an automatic 18% service fee. Definitely not worth the tip, the girl never once came by to ask if we were okay or needed anything. I was the one to always get her attention. She had a bad attitude, and had the nerve to roll her eyes at me when I was nothing but nice when asking for things. If they refused to service us, then we should be able to refuse to pay the automatic 18% gratutidy.

P.S. This place used to be so busy, now look at it (see video)... that says a lot. Now both my wallet and stomach are empty. 😭😡🤬💸🪦

Service was awful. We kept having to get up to get the server attention because they were just running past us and didn’t come to check on the table. Very Inattentive and not polite about our questions with the menu. I had to keep eating the delicious food to try to forget about the awful interactions.

Request the bottle if ordering alcohol—what they served as makgeolli was clearly diluted. As for the food, the prices far exceed the quality delivered. Overall, an underwhelming experience that doesn’t justify the journey. (They use lots of pre made stuff bought from the korean store across the st)

Great service, our server was super sweet and attentive. We got the $32.99 Korean bbq option and they had a good selection of meats. Really loved the marinated meats, but don’t bother getting the non-marinated ones unless you season them well (beef tongue, rib).

All the sides options were great, and we got super full that we didn’t even need refills on anything. You also get cheesy corn and your choice of soup, either kimchi or soybean soup. Will be back for sure! Great dining experience overall.

They raised their prices. A bit more expensive than KPOT down the road. Got rid of their steamed egg which is a BBQ staple due to egg prices but what can you do am I right? Otherwise brisket is great. Short rib as well

The food is great here, but I will say for the all-you-can-eat I wish they had more variety of meats. They have good sides that come with the all-you-can-eat and the soybean soup is delicious as well. The fried cheese corn is fantastic. Overall great service and good food, I just think to keep up with the other offerings in the area as far as Korean and Japanese barbecue they should offer more variety of meats.
