What an awesome place. We reserved a large table for our soccer team. The service was great, food was good, and the margaritas are excellent. Looking forward to coming here again.

Took forever to order. Got water, ordered food and appetizer.. All came out at the same time. Drinks right before food as they got ordered after food. Looked like 2 servers.

My wife and I were passing by PrairieFire for a Sunday meal before heading home. We came across CocoBolos and figured we would give it a try. The overall atmosphere inside and out was lively, music, lights, tv, indoor and outdoor guest interacting. We entered the restaurant and there was no one at the door to greet and sit us. We stood around for about 2 minutes even with other staff member buzzing about before a young lady came out of the kitchen and seated us. A gentleman brought out water promptly and after about 3-4 minutes our server arrives. She was very pleasant and professional. She brought chips and salsa which was decent. I ordered and an Amoretto Sour and she took our food orders. She returned to say that they were out of amaretto so we chose to just drink our waters. Within 5 to 7 minutes they returned with her mahi mahi tacos and my three enchiladas. Her tacos were bland, fishy and the shells seemed stale and my enchiladas were hard to cut through with my fork. Our server said it may have been the corn tortillas instead of the flour ones and suggested that we give it a try with chicken instead of fish. She returned in about 5 to 7 minutes with the replacement tacos. After one or two bites my wife still wasn't happy with the flavor of the tacos and texture of the flour tortilla shells. After waiting 15 minutes for my food I called the server over and told her that we were just going to go ahead and leave and that I would pay for the taco since it was taking so long to bring my food. A young man walked up and stated that he was the manager (Nick) if I recall correctly. He said that he didn't want us to leave unhappy with a bad experience. I told him no hard feelings it just was not working out especially after the chair that I was sitting at had a screw on the back that was frayed and ripped my shirt. He said not a problem and started to ring it up and told me that my total was appox $28. We both asked "$28 for tacos"?. He said well you had a amaretto sour two plates of tacos and the enchiladas. We told him we never received an amaretto sour because they were out of it so we told her we didn't want anything to drink. We sent the tacos back because they weren't good but I was willing to pay for the second one even though we didn't eat it and I wasn't going to pay for the second order of enchiladas because they never came to the table with it. He tried to insist that we pay because they had made the food. I stated that does not make sense I'm not paying for something that I didn't receive or pay for poor service but I would pay for the one taco that we didn't eat. So the final bill was $12. Which won't cover the cost of replacing my shirt. My wife who worked for about 10 years in the restaurant industry offered a word of advice that instead of getting defensive that you make note of some of the concerns and offer those suggestions to your chef to take a look at your food and your flavors because you're in a really nice location and the price point and service food and flavor should all reflect that. We shook hands I filled out the credit card payment gave a review on the machine and provided my contact information if anyone in the company wanted to make contact with us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that I know.

I recently dined at this Mexican restaurant and found the ambience to be perfect for couples. The cozy atmosphere sets the mood for a romantic evening. While the food was decent, it could be elevated to match the standards of other Mexican restaurants. However, what truly stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff, making the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, it's a lovely spot for a date night, but there's room for improvement in the culinary offerings.

We went here for the first time as we heard this was a sister restaurant to the Rock and Brews in the Prairie Fire Shopping Center, Overland Park!We had a really good time tonight as we heard it was Taco Tuesday. Each of us had a separate entrée and we all agreed the food was very exotic! The service by our waitress: Cora was top notch! Best fire roasted chipotle salsa ever!

Fantastic night! It's been a while since we have last been here. The vibe has changed for the better the staff seem friendly than before. The service was fantastic, the food came out quickly, and the quality you can tell has also improved. Come to find out the place has a new GM, it shows. Looking forward to coming back real

Went in one night for some tacos and a drink. The place was packed and super busy, but thankfully we had Bella as our server! Even though the place was packed and she had to have been so busy, she never sacrificed her service to us. She still made time to connect with us, make conversation, answer questions about the menu and even suggested some drinks and food to us (which we ended up ordering, she was so knowledgeable about the menu, it was great!). Safe to say that her service made our experience there great, which you don’t always get when a restaurant is busy. We will absolutely be back!

We sat at the table for forty minutes waiting for someone to take our order. We had young kids with us and we asked three separate times for our order to be taken because the kids were hungry and they continued to ignore us. We ended up leaving without any foods after having been there for fifty minutes between the wait for the table and the wait for a server. The worst part was they served all the tables around us promptly, including tables that were seated after us. After watching our toddler chew on ice cubes because she was starting, we decided to leave. Horrid experience.
