Food tastes very good . Their fresh tortillas are something special. Prices are higher than one would find in the city.

This is my 2nd time going into Elfogan Mexican restaurant on Metcalf to order food and the OWNER DO NOT LIKE OR RESPECT BLACK PEOPLE. He caters to the white customers and those like him ONLY. My husband and I have gone in there twice and he has NEVER been pleasant with us.

Mind you, we have NEVER complained about anything and have always paid accordingly so why can’t we be treated like everybody else???

He never greets us to help we have to greet him first for a response. He acts very annoyed as if he knows us personally when he don’t, but as we sat waiting on our order to come up on both visits to this place, we watched how he greeted and interacted with the white people as if their money and presence was greater than ours.

My husband and I have been in business ourselves for ourselves for over 15 years and currently still is, and we would NEVER and have ever treat nobody any differently or give no other race better quality of treatment over another. The food is good but the behavior is NASTY. DO BETTER BECAUSE WERE ALL KEEPING YOUR DOORS OPEN.

Had lunch at El Fogon and enjoyed an asada torta and al pastor street tacos—both flavorful and fresh. The horchata was decent but tasted like a powder mix. Overall, solid spot for tacos and a quick lunch, would come back for the food!

Food is amazing! Reasonably priced, friendly smiling staff who helped me with pronouncing food items. Clean and festive environment. Took me back to my trips to Mexico! Headed to the attached Mexican market next door! Will definitely be back

So good! I had the carnitas tacos and they were so good! I love adding extra lime to mine and they gave me plenty. The small market next door is also really nice

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I'm not sure I've had better barbacoa anywhere else. I also gravitate towards the pollo asado. There usually isn't much of a wait so you can dip in and out if you are short on time. You do have to pay for chips and salsa but the barbacoa is so great, so I don't mind.

Some of the best tacos you can find in the area. A great place that gets you food fast and for a good price. Sitting in a little taco place next to a grocery store has a certain charm that not much can top. I highly recommend El Fogon.

Had the chorizo burrito. I wouldn't say it was great, but it was good. We ordered online, and I included a side of guacamole in my order that I didn't receive - that's on me, I should have checked the bag before we left. The service was fast and friendly. There are a few tables, but I'd assume most of their business is take-out. All in all, I'm sure that I'll go back.

The food was great! My only complaint is the side chips was a smaller portion than I expected; I don't mind paying for chips but it wasn't that many

Great tacos, very good tortillas and the market next door is small but has all the snacks you need. Definitely trying again
