They have THE BEST CHICKEN MOLE IN the 22 different states that I have ate it in. Wife got Chile Verde and it was delicious. Portions great especially for take out. She took some of hers home BUT mine was so good; I ate the white off the plate. LOL BUT SERIOUSLY folks great chow great service. Also if you live up north, there's a location on I 29 and Barry road towards airport. AND if you like an adult beverage they will HOOK YOU UP. TRY IT

First visit of many to come. This is truly authentic Mexican cuisine. The owner walked us through a taste of Mexico (not westernized) the pork tamale & squash blossoms were unbelievable. Handmade tortillas, slow braised meats & vegetables and delicious dessert.

An incredible food experience. The menu tour was delicious, filling, and informative. I can't wait to come back and try round 2. My only regret was not getting more pictures of the amazing courses and the sweet potato cheesecake (one of the best pieces of cake I've ever had).
Came here for dinner with friends after hearing rave reviews about it for years. We were not disappointed. This is truly authentic Mexican cuisine, served in a simple yet elegant way. The quesadilla cuitlacoche is a unique offering not to be missed, the flavors perfectly balanced with such a delicate main ingredient. The steak mariposa is another dish you will not find elsewhere. Topped with either a tangy tomatillo sauce or a bold, fresh tomato mole, this entree was a delightful departure from the Tex-Mex fare you find in other restaurants in town.My only let down was how slow the service became once the dinner crowd filed in. It took longer than it should have to get refills on water, let alone order a round of margaritas after dinner, but that was not nearly enough to put a damper on an otherwise wonderful experience.Foodies of all stripes, be sure to put Ixtapa on your “must try” list!
