The food was scrumptious, really enjoyed the burnt ends and bbq shrimp and the service was spot on! The carrot cake with warm frosting is unforgettable!!!
Dylan, our server was excellent! Everyone's food was outstanding! This Jack Stack location is our favorite place to eat out, hands down, especially when family comes to visit from out of state!
Just a superb Kansas City barbecue experience. Top-notch service top-notch food. The selections on the menu and the drinks were just superb. I don't know how anybody could improve on this. Thank you, Jack.
Long time BBQ favoite of ours. This location has been consistently great for several years.
We love the BBQ here! The champagne salad with pulled pork and added a drizzle of blackberry bbq sauce, exquisite!!!! I will go to Kansas City just to eat here!
Great food and good selection of choices. Meats were flavorful and sauce was fantastic flavor.
Ordered door dash got the brisket potato and grilled asparagus and man let me tell you it was amazing! Definitely will order again if in the area.
Well worth the 3 plus hour drive from home. Great food & service Meredith our server was AWESOME!
Excellent food and service!
Good food, wonderful staff, but the place felt a bit crowded with tight spaces.

Disappointed. Sliced oven-roasted brisket with barbeque sauce (no smoke ring) is what goes for smoked brisket? Turkey had a bit of smoky flavor. Potato salad was okay.
Carry out for two and a half. Meat was on point. Fries had good seasoning. I got the Martin city Mayor! Cash money messed up and got a burnt end sandwich…..
No big deal.
The rings were amazing. Lots of sauce to go around. The cheese corn and asparagus were tasty.
Same old stuff. It’s good every time we go.
While the ambiance and service were very good and the noise level was moderate, what stood out was the food. The baby back ribs were the best I've ever tasted. They were moist, but not fatty . The dry rub was flavorful, but not overwhelming. And the sauce on the side was a nice complement.
We had the Cue' for Two Burnt Ends meal. It was amazing! The burnt ends were “melt in your mouth”!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had the fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce and the onion rings for appetizers. Both were excellent. Between our party of four, we had ribs, brisket, burn't ends, cheesy corn, baked beans, and loaded baked potato. Everything was warm and delicious. Jack Stack is by far the best barbecue in KC! I recommend make a reservation to be seated immediately.
