Accidents happen and the cashier over charged me 6 dollars. I went to just have it corrected. Without listening her coworker claimed it was not so and then i tried again to explain and then “you complaining about not being charged.” Tried to explain yet again and she says i told you it was the candy bar.Now my holiday has been crap and i start to cry in frustration and the coworker states, “ you are being over dramatic and crying does not work on me.”Next she accuses my son of putting a bag of candy in his pocket and that is what was charged. Finally the cashier confirms what i bought and that my son did not put anything in his pocket l, that i handed her the empty bag my son had because he changed his mind on getting loose candy.Now all i wanted was the difference and a simple apology. Rudest service i have ever seen. I was petty in the end because she implied i was a liar and my son was a thief and was just rude when i was not angry or even upset when i went up to her.My husband has left a message for management to contact us.It has been weeks and the management has not contacted us back about the issue but has had time to respond to positive reviews. At this time i will go to the Mall’s management and have it addressed there. A simple apology for the employee would have gone a long way, but that seems not to be in the cards.

This is the place to find the candy you remember or Thad’s hard to find. Very nice store that’s super clean and well lit.Plenty of stock on hand. Candy and drinks.Staff was very friendly.The candy is a bit pricey but when you consider it’s a super nice store in an upscale mall verses a 5 and 10 Store the pricing makes sense.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A great selection of candy, which includes some of my favorites (malted milk balls, sour gummy balls and chocolate covered Oreos). Lot's of fun candy from other countries and from years past. Lived here for years and just found this little gem of a store. My mouth loves it... my waistline, not so much. :-)

Decent little candy store but a little expensive. Granddaughter loves this place because she can buy her macarons. They have a nice variety. The workers are very friendly and the store is always clean. I'm quite sure that we'll be back.

I have been to this store many times since moving to Overland Park. I have never had an issue. However, today I had the displeasure of meeting the manager of this store. When I walked into the store as I usually do, I took my refillable’s out , never had I been told that the refillable need to be shown prior to entering the store, or when, entering. I have been going to this store for 1 year and a half. The employees are extremely helpful and respectful. The store manager proceeded to scream at me, and yell at me that I had to show my refillable containers when entering. I said you can look up my account details if needed. She was standing at the front of the store and i was near the back where the sour gummy worms are located. She then proceeded to have a yelling match with me about how I did not buy my refillable containers and would need to repay them. Pointing her finger at me and telling me to come over to her like I was her son on the playground. I told her if she was a manager, that approach is simply deplorable. This was clearly racially profiling, despite us BOTH being black. This store has been nothing but good to me since I moved here. But my opinion has officially changed. This aggressive and egregious behavior must be addressed by another higher up. This incident happened 08/17/2023 around 5pm. Action must be taken immediately.
A unique variety of candy options, and very helpful staff. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you are at this mall.

Great selection of candy. It's fun to fill a bag and get to enjoy a bite of several different things. Losing one star because of how crowded the store is. It's easy to navigate if you're the only customer, otherwise you're going to constantly having to change course to get where you want to be.

MEGAN IS AMAZING. (I will address them as They/Them, Im not sure of their pronouns and I want to address them correctly)I believe they said they were the district manager for that store? I cant remember, anyway, this was maybe my 3rd or 4th Time meeting them in the past couple of years, AND THEY DO NOT DISAPPOINT.Megan is so freaking nice and so beautiful.Iove seeing Megan working the Shop here.Always so sweet and just curtious.SHOUT TO MEGAN!!!
