Finally some good authentic Mexican food in OP. I got the Birria Plate and it was delicious. The portions are huge and the food literally warmed my soul. My boyfriend got the Asada Tacos which were also fire. We enjoyed our lunch while he gave me a history lesson of the classical Mexican 50s music that was playing. Arturo was our server and he was very attentive, not to mention he’s a great bartender.
We were surprised to find such a nice little restaurant in the mall. We were glad we checked out reviews because I would have blown this place off otherwise. Note: it's not in the food court, which for me would have been a deal breaker for this kind of meal. The food here isn't fast food. Just had chips with salsa and questions, with a house margarita on the rocks. The chips were perfect, the margarita and salsa were very good, but the queso wasn't spicy enough for my taste. The staff was wonderful.
