I used to love this restaurant, my local branch closed one day. No warning just here one day gone the next. When I found this one open I was excited to try it. It was as I expected in all but the food. I got the dish I always used to get. I got the classic Burrito with chili con carne on it. I used to love this meal. It was wholly unimpressive. Husband and I went last night and ordered the Guacamole Live appetizer. Our server, Rachel, was super friendly and made fantastic guacamole. She was vegan, and helped me navigate the menu as a vegan. I got the Guacamole Bowl at her suggestion. It tasted amazing and the pickled onions fit really well! That ended up being too much guacamole for me and I took the appetizer to go. the beans rice tortillas and guac and salad was good but the veggie mushrooms were hard to chew. took one bite and couldn’t finish the rest. the chips were also good but overall it’s just some americanized mexican food. not horrible but not amazing either
