I had always heard how great Strouds is so we were driving by and figured after all these years we would give it a try.
We ordered some fried chicken, and it comes with sides of green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy.
The chicken was very disappointing. It was dry and had been cooked well in advance of ordering it.
The sides were good, but the fried chicken left a lot to be desired.

It still tastes like the original great food dating back to the original Troost location. Mike D. would be proud of the tradition he started! Service isn't what it used to be, but the food made up for it! ?
