We grabbed a cocktail before heading out for dinner. The old fashioned was made with store pick Buffalo Trace and was absolutely delicious. There were hundreds of bourbon options including hard to find bottles if you have the kind of cash to spend on a pour. Definitely worth a stop for a drink
A slightly more elevated version of the standard hotel bar & restaurant. I stopped in for a glass of wine as a night cap… they were packed, but that was due to the hotel being busy I’m sure. They have an amazing list of bourbon, but I’m a wine guy so that was my concern. They had an OK list of wine.

Zephyr Kitchen and Bourbon Bar is really working to break the stigma of hotel bars. Zephyr is a stunning, open-concept space located in the Marriott Overland Park. They offer bourbon (of course!), cocktails, beer, wine, and have a small kitchen menu. The cocktail menu does rotate seasonally!If you're a bourbon lover (or looking to try something new) this is definitely the spot to visit.
