Great place, great atmosphere.
Great food and one heck of an owner and staff.
Real smoke bbq. You will not get a bad dish. The beer 🍻 is very cold.
I eat there every time I’m in Paola, Kansas. The people that run this place are just good people.

Papa C's BBQ Bar & Grill offers fantastic food and a great vibe. The Mac and cheese and Cheese Bites are highly recommended. The Ribs are fabulous, and the cole slaw and potato salad are also delicious. The portions are generous and worth the money. The staff, led by Chef Carl, makes customers feel like family, providing friendly service and offering good times and good food. The place is known for real smoke BBQ, and every dish is satisfying. The beer is very cold, perfect to enjoy with the meal. While service can sometimes be slow, the small size of the restaurant makes it easy to see what’s happening, and the tables provide easy wheelchair access. Parking is limited out front but ample behind the building, and the atmosphere remains casual and welcoming. Overall, a great spot for delicious BBQ in a friendly environment.
