Scratch Gourmet Kitchen

Tonight was our second visit to Scratch Gourmet Kitchen. It was an absolutely amazing dinner with incredible service. Scratch definitely is our favorite place for date night when we are in Kansas City.

The atmosphere was a bit underwhelming and doesn't match up to the excellent food, craft cocktails and service.

Our first time here—loved everything about it and can't wait to return. Super fun cocktails!

Very pricy. Serving of salads and soup were very small for the price. Charged us $4 for white bread toast. They gave it a fancy name, but it was only toast. Very surprised for a gourmet place to try this trick

Dinner can be loud, but lunch was delightful with the same incredible food.....the salmon that is currently on the menu is amazing! Split 2 of the small salads with my friend.....and dessert was also delicious. Love Scratch!

I’d been wanting to stop in & finally did. It’s a super cute indoor/outdoor vibe. It is small indoor so would highly recommend a reservation. I actually tried the secret garden mocktail & everything about it was great! It came out with a big mint bubble on top so presentation was super cute & it tasted really refreshing & sweet. The appetizer (crab & shrimp wonton dip) was to die for! I’d come back just for that any day. The main course I chose was the salmon. It was good, but somewhat regular. The staff were sweet & overall really great place.

Food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. Perfect intimate setting for my birthday celebration. Jason was very attentive. Already made plans to come back. Highly recommend!

It was our first visit at Scratch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our server, Kalana, had great recommendations and was so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish: from our cocktails, wine and food. We had the candied dates, crab cake, short rib gnocchi, steak entree and brownie sundae. I can confidently say it was one of the best meals we have had out in Kansas City in a very long time. I’m already looking forward to going back. Thank you, Kalana for an amazing experience!

Claira took care of us with Ambrose. She is knowledgeable of menu. Passion for service. Cared if we returned. If I owned a restaurant, I’d want her representing the concept.

I recently had an amazing dining experience at Scratch, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Kalana, Clara, and Sage provided exceptional service that truly made the night memorable. The food was exquisite and complemented perfectly by an array of cocktails that are simply out of this world.

Each cocktail burst with fascinating flavors and complexity, showcasing the creativity behind the bar. It's clear that Scratch is not only known for its outstanding food and wine but has also mastered the art of mixology. She managed setup, coordinated the staff, handled rental contracts, and addressed every question or concern with ease.
