“I got the Iced Caramel Macchiato and a lemon macaron (made in Lawrence by a macaron connoisseur). Let me tell you, the iced caramel macchiato is fantastic and the macaron was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is great and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and even gave recommendations for local food. 10/10 will return to try other drinks, or maybe I’ll just order the same thing, it really hit the spot.”

“This is the best place ! After spending a few days in KC! We were headed home back to Wichita and stopped at Loves to stretch get ready to leave car won’t start get a jump head over to Oreillys to find my alternator is not good so take my car to Main Street Auto to get it fix which they were amazing as well so here we are stuck in Ottawa and walked to get something to eat here at Pizza Village the lady here is the sweetest told us we could stay here until our car was done and just has been the most nicest lady ever! Food is awesome and prices are great!! Thank you for being so awesome and letting us hang out until we can get back on the road!!”

“From out of town, so not familiar with the menu. My local place, where I live has a massive menu. As soon as we walked in, it was “what can I get for you?” Helpful, yes, but since idk what you even have, that was a lil irritating. I chose to ignore that. Finally made our choices. The shakes were great. The tea was mid as it wasn’t my normal recipe from my normal place. But I chose to overlook that since I know it’s not my place. I looked around a lot while the drinks were being made. Lots of clutter on all the open surfaces. Throw pillows stacked on top of board games on top of…. More clutter. I felt like I was in my teens bedroom. And open purse or makeup bag or something on the counter where drinks are blended. I’m not a fan of that kind of stuff being around my food. The drinks were good. The photo backdrops were cute. I would go back if I pass through again. I really NEEDED a paper receipt for my own reasons. She couldn’t figure out how to print one. So I wish that was not even an option on the screen, if it cannot be provided. I’m trying to not tear the place down. But my expectations were not met. The drinks were good. Next time I’ll tell them my favorite flavor mixes and ask them to try and imitate that as best as possible. If I go back….”

Very kind staff eager to talk beer and upcoming projects with anyone at the bar. Fun to see the artist at work making the beer signs for the wall today.
Their signature Franklin County Wheat beer is exceptional. Especially considering a brewery can't be without a good wheat beer in Kansas, and to stand out among all those is special.
Definitely hope to return when there's more time to try some other styles!”

“The here help is good, courteous, and conscientious. However, the app has much to be desired as it often misleads the deal of the day with a required minimum order, limit, etc. We recently tried the double meat and cheddar. This sandwich receives a unanimous among three of us, as a “do not recommend”. I don’t know if the supposed cheddar is a “squeeze out of the bottle” or some other variety, whatever it is, it sure didn’t taste very well nor was it melted on the meat. One of our party has heartburn, a second person ditched a partially eaten sandwich and a third is nauseated by the odor still lingering on his well washed hands (after dinner). This sandwich will not be chosen again, even if is as a well priced special.”

“I go to the Sunday brunch and I always get the best service! Your staff is friendly and remembers where I sit and what I want. I’ve been dining alone as the person I usually eat with has been sick. I sit and eat at the bar and Lindsay is so friendly and makes sure I have everything I need plus talks to me as she works. I do get carry out to go too and it’s always good. Great staff and food! One of the top places to eat in Ottawa!”

“I'm glad I don't work here anymore the cooks are rude and pile things up on you, 1 of the managers is just plain rude no matter what you are doing she complains, while i was working here one of the cooks was told not to put cheese on one of the taco bowls he went and added it anyway 1 of the managers came back to grab it and told him she said no cheese the person who ordered it is allergic and instead of making a new one he just put his hands in it started pulling out some cheese then covered it up like nothing happened they are VERY lucky nothing happened, they barely keep the kitchen clean it's a mess and falling apart they even have cockroaches which is disgusting they don't even do anything about it I TOOK A PICTURE OF IT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I guarantee when they go to old 56 it'll turn into this mess within a month I DONT RECOMMEND WORKING OR EATING HERE UNLESS THINGS CHANGE IM VERY DISAPPOINTED”

“As a Californian who enjoys In-N-Out, I’d say Freddy’s has taken the number one spot as my go-to. The food is fresh, flavorful, and has an authentic taste. My only downside is that I wish the jalapeño fry sauce had more heat. Other than that, I’d give this location an 8.2 out of 10.

“I went through the drive-through today and ordered a pecan crunch oat latte hot, but it accidentally came out iced. I mentioned it at the window and even offered to come inside to wait, but the team insisted they’d bring the corrected drink out to me. Within just a few minutes, one of the baristas came out with my hot drink, all smiles, super professional, and even apologized for the wait. To my surprise, she also gave me a gift card for the mix-up—which honestly wasn’t even a big deal to me at all, but their gesture meant the world.
